The episode starts with Poww continuing the brutal beat down on Ikkaku. It’s pretty obvious that the Shinigami is no match against Poww’s raw strength. Just before Poww breaks Ikkaku into two, an unlikely character makes a timely save. 7th Division Captain Komamura steps in and delivers a crushing right fist to Poww’s face, sending the Arrancar flying. Iba then comes into the scene using several rods to stop the teleportation of the real Karakura town from Soul Society (because the pillar was destroyed). Poww manages to pick himself up and retaliates, punching Komamura hard, sending the Captain crashing into several buildings. The Arrancar then decides to take the fight to the next level. He brings out his sword… which looks like a Toothpick and unleashes his true form - Calderon (Pilot Whale). Poww grows into a towering deformed giant with Popeye forearms. He begins to chase down Ikkaku and Iba. Before he manages to squish the two Shinigami, Komamura makes the save again, catching his punch and doing the unthinkable. He throws the gigantic Arrancar to the ground. While watching this part, I really felt awed and excited because Komamura was never really given enough screen time in the previous seasons of Bleach. Now we finally get to see the “beast” in action. .gallery { margin: auto; } .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 33%; } .gallery img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } Komamura doesn’t hold back, and releases his Zanpaktou’s Bankai: Kokujuou Tengen Myou-ou (Enlightened King’s Heavenly Punishment). Komamura’s Bankai summons a massive oni-samurai wearing black plate armor and wielding a gigantic blade. Komamura’s Bankai deflects the Cero blast of Poww, and the two giants start to tear up the town. In desperation, Poww locks down Komamura’s arms and tries to deliver a point-blank Cero. Komamura’s Bankai takes the full force of the blast, but it barely even scratches the armor of the Oni Samurai. Komamura forces the blast into Poww’s mouth which is simply a raw display of brutish strength. Komamura finishes Poww off with an overhead cleave. The next part is a bit emo. Iba scolds Ikkaku because he didn’t use his Bankai, therefore losing the battle. Because of Ikkaku’s pride, the pillar was destroyed. I loved how Iba says that if you want to be proud, then become stronger. All that matters is the win. I now have new found respect for this weird mustached shinigami. Episode ends with Barragan getting really annoyed that his Fraccion lost against the Shinigami.Watch Bleach Episode 220 now!

BLEACH EPISODE #2

As soon as the Opening Theme ends we are welcomed by Ichigo's father rudely awakening Ichigo. After taking his father down he remembers what happened last night and immediatly asks if Karin and Yuzu arent seriously injured, while his dad is uncertain what Ichigo is talking about. It turns out that a truck had crashed into the house (thats what they think), but his dad reassures us that no one was injured. Scenes change to Ichigo's school, where we are introduced to Inoue and Tatsuki. Ichigo bumps into Inoue by accident, but yet does not apologize until Tatsuki-chan orders Ichigo to do so. Ichigo lends his hand to help Inoue, but fearing his "scary eyes" Inoue gets back up and walks the other way mumbling. Now in Ichigo's classroom, people are discussing the "truck accident" that occured last night. When all seemed normal, Rukia appears behind Ichigo dressed in a school uniform, it appears she is a transfer student. She greets Ichigo with "If you make a scene your dead" writen on her hand.

Ichigo and Rukia, now alone, after finally getting rid of that high pitched voice, she dicusses how she lost all her Shinigami powers because Ichigo took them all. She explains she is in a Gigai, which is a temporary body until she can regain her powers once again. She tells Ichigo that now he must play the role of the Shinigami until her powers are regained. Ichigo immediatly refuses, he explains that the reason he faught was to protect his family and that he cannot fight for simple strangers. Rukia then pulls out a glove, with a flaming skull, and thrusts her hand through Ichigo's head, thus revealing his Shinigami form.

Rukia leads Ichigo to a park where a small ghost boy is being attacked by a spider-like hollow. Ichigo starts to act, but Rukia stops him, she recalls that Ichigo wouldnt do this for simple strangers. He explains that he cannot simply watch by. Once again he is stopped by Rukia and is told to only fight the hollow if he commits himself to saving all ghosts attacked by hollows. The boy ghost falls down, and just before he is to be attacked Ichigo pulls out his sword and takes out two of its legs. The hollow falls backwards and retreats through a portal. The hollow then re-appears behind Ichigo, while discussing things about duty. Ichigo turns around and stabs the hollow right in the forehead, instantly the hollow begins to dissolve to dust. Ichigo then turns to the small boy, he then performs Konsoh on the boy and is sent to Soul Society.

Scene changes to night where we see a ghost linguring above Inoue's window. The ghost is then taken away by two hollows, where the ghost is then brough to a darkened, place where a huge hollow appears and transforms the ghost into a hollow as well.

Scene changes to where we see Rukia reading out of some book. Ichigo immediatly interupts her with a "Shut the hell up". Rukia explains that she doesnt want to be inturupted because she is studying. Ichigo asks why Rukia is following him, Rukia replies that she is not going to leave until Ichigo takes the responsibility of being a Shinigami. Loud screaching of tires immediatly catch the attention of both Ichigo and Rukia. We see Inoue laying on the ground after being hit by a car. She immediatly gets up and says that she is alright. Rukia notices that Inoue has a large bruise like figure on her leg.

Scene changes to evening where Rukia and Ichigo are walking along the riverside. We then learn of Inoue's brother (the ghost who turned into a hollow), whom dies at Ichigo's family hospital. Rukia then walks away and announces that she is going home.

Scene once again changes to night where Tatsuki-chan is arriving at Inoue's house for dinner. Back to Ichigo's room where Yuzu walks in asking where he pajamas are, she also complains that her dress is also missing. Ichigo explains that he has no clue what she is talking about and Yuzu leaves the room. We then see Rukia, who is recieving an order from soul-society on her beeping cell phone. Ichigo hears this noise and wonders where its coming from. Rukia bursts out of Ichigo's closet and pulls out "the glove" and pulls the Shinigami out of Ichigo just in time to dodge the hollows attack. The hollow comes out of its portal and breaks Ichigo's bed (poor, poor bed). Rukia tells Ichigo to aim for its head, Ichigo pulls out his sword, jumps up and brings the sword down slicing the face of the hollow, but not before getting a tail whip sending the bacwards into the ground. The hollow attacks, but its attack s dodged by Ichigo. Ichigo then slices the hollows arm. Ichigo then lunges towards the hollow and brings down its sword on the side of its mask. After a struggle with the sword and the hollow, a part of the hollows mask breaks apart, thus revealing the hollows identity as Inoue's brother after the hollow retreats. Rukia then explains that hollows where once humans, that they are ghosts transformed into hollows. The scene changes back to Inoue's house where the two are enjoying their dinner. After Inoue's is imagining and mumbling about something as usual, they are interupted by numerous large crashs comming from the kitchen. The scene ends with a clip of Inoues brother (in hollow form) wailing out from withing the kitchen.
