BLEACH EPISODE #1

"We have no form, therefore we fear it, and because we are formless, we revere it. Thus we are slain." While this phrase flashes by your screen, we see two hollows shot down from the sky and disappear into the night. Standing on a telephone pole is an unknown women. She says she has felt a "strong pulse" and jumps rapidly into the town below.

Now evening of a new day, we see an orange haired teen whom has apparently kicked down and knocked out a man no older than himself. His friend, overwhelmed by anger attempts to punch this orange haired-teen but is interrupted by a smooth kick to the face, then repeatidly kicking him into the back. The attackers friends terrified of whats going on are in shock. The orange-haired teen then gives the attacker known as Toshirin, three kicks to the back of the head which sends his face into the concrete. The orange-haired student points to a flower in a bottle which had been knocked down. Then the orange haired studen asks "Question 1: What the hell is that?" after demanding the one in the middle to answer the question he responds"Um, a tribute for the girl who died here recently" The orange haired replys "ABSOULUTLY RIGHT" and gives him a straight kick to the face, knocking him out. The student then asks "Why would that bottle have fallen over" one tells him they were skateboarding and knocked it over, without giving a seconds thought the student gives them numerous kicks to the remaining two knocking them down. The student then says that I'll make people lay flowers for you. All the sulprits then run away in fear. Then appearing comes a ghost with a chain coming out of her chest, she thanks the student for chasing them off. The student places the bottle upright and tells the ghost to "hurry up and go to heaven" and peacefully walks away as the ghost disappears.



We are then introduced to Kurosaki Ichigo, 15 years old, highschool student, whoms family runs the town clinic. Ever since he has remembered he has had the ability to see ghosts.

As he enters his house he is welcomed by a kick to the face from his father. His father, angered by Ichigo being late, attacks him and a fight scene commences. We are then introduced to Karin and Yuzu, who are quitely eating their dinner at the table. Ichigo ends the fight with a kick sending his father flying into the wall. Karin, sensing a ghost near by, tells Ichigo he's got a new friend. Appearing behind Ichigo is a male ghost with yet another chain coming from his chest. After watching Ichigo wave at the ghost in the background, Karin says that she doesnt believe in ghosts. Then suddenly from no where Ichigo's father slid-tackles Ichigo and appears to have him in a submission manuever. Ichigo tosses his father away and says he's going to bed. Ichigo then drops into his bed, staring at the ceiling.

A new day comes, with the T.V. showcasing a live scene of an explosion which happened in the town. Ichigo wakes up and appears through the door dressed for school. He pops a piece of toast in his mouth and the scene changes. Ichigo is walking down the street with more flowers for the young girl who passed away. He arrives the same scene where we were first introduce to him. He shouts for the girl but is inturupted by the screems of a girl and some wierd howling noise. He then races off to the direction the scremes came from.

We are then in the city, where a women says "What's that sound?", a man replys "I didnt hear anything", then in the background a and explosion erupts the city with smoke. We then see scratches appear across a nearby building wall. Our main character, Ichigo, is then seen running into the smoke. We see a large monster emurge from the smoke, appears to be an insect like monster with a large white mask protecting its face. Emurging from the smoke is that young ghost who passed away recently. Her and Ichigo then run away from the frightening monster. The girl falls and Ichigo stops to aid her. The monster then rushes towards and prepares to attack. The unknown women appears from nowhere, unsheaves her sword and slashes the monster in the face. The monster still alive howls at the women but its too late...the women gives him a huge slash straight down the middle of its body. The monster then dissolves to thin air, leaving the women unscaved. Ichigo attempts to talk to her but she walks away without a word.

Fastforwarding to night we see Ichigo, once again, laying down in his room looking at the ceiling. He wonders who this women was, when she suddenly jumps through his window. Ichigo stuned by this says "Who are you?" but the women does not reply. She reaches for her sword and says "It's near". Ichigo then lunges at her and kickes her square in the back, knocking her down. With a little question-mark above her head she turns around and asks "You can see me?, Rather you kicked me." Ichigo replys promptly "What bullshit you talkin'?, Of course I can -" then interupted by the women. She claims that nobody should be able to see her, Ichigo reply's to this by an attempt to kick the women. The women dodges then jumps off of Ichigo's head. She then tells Ichigo that she is a Shinigami (Death God).

The scene changes to seeing, once again, that girl running down a street from a large but invisable monster. After breaking an electrical wire from its emence size it continues pursuing the young girl.

We return to Ichigo's room where Ichigo starts reviewing all he had learned from this mysterious women. He then claims that he believes absolutly none of this and throws a table into the air. The women questions why but he claims he has never seen one thus it does not exist. After calling the women a stupid brat, she uses an binding spell on Ichigo, rendering his arms imobilized. After Ichigo questions what the hell she's done she replies she has used the Way Of The Demon which is a noble magic only used by Shinigami. She then claims that she has lived almost 10 times longer than he has. She then unsheathed her sword and appears to be attacking Ichigo, but instead places her hilt on a ghosts forehead, the same male ghost from before, thus sending him to Soul Society (a.k.a. Heaven). The women then pulls out a marker and pad of paper and draws a picture to illustrate what it is a Shinigami does. Ichigo hen critisizes her bad drawings and recieves a marker drawing of a mustache on his face.

The scene changes to the girl once again running through the streets but trips and falls down, the monster(now we know known as Hollows) stops before his final strike. He smells the scent of a delicous soul, the monster then pursues this "delicious soul", leaving the girl behind.

The scene returns back to Ichigo's rooms with him suddenly yelling "Hey, can you hear that?" the women ignores the remark and continues talking about the certain "hollow" she's pursuing. She claims that she cannot sense the hollows precense, and that some enormous power is preventing her from properly sensing it. Ichigo interupts by saying "Can't you hear that loud-ass voice?" The women then hears the hollows howl and runs toward the door, leaving Ichigo behind. The women is then overwhelmed by a huge spirit force coming from the hollow. Yuzu (Ichigo's sister) appears in front of Ichigos door and falls on the spot due to injuries. Before she faints she mutters out the words "Save Karin-chan". After hearing Karin scremeing the Shinigami runs towards the screems, leaving Ichigo in his room, once again. After runnign down the stairs the Shinigami spots the hollow with Karin in its hands. Karin screems out "Stop!, Stop!" but the hollow only squises tighter. The shinigami unsheathes her sword right when Ichigo falls down the stairs. Ichigo then stands up, still with his arms imobilized while the Shinigami remains stuned that Ichigo can stand under the "Way of the Demon". Ichigo, seeing Karin being hurt bursts out all his anger, dissolving the "way of the Demon" magic. Ichigo lunges towards the monster with steel-chair in hand, but is swatted away by the hollow like a bug. The hollow the says "I found you" while looking at Ichigo. The hollow attempts to punch Ichigo but he dodges it while the Shinigami attacks the hollows arm by slashing it with her sword. The hollow then retreats to its own world, while droping Karin, but Ichigo was there to save her just in time. The Shinigami then realizes that the one the hollow was following was Ichigo, and that his spiritual preassure was the one blocking her from sensing the hollows spiritual preassure. The hollow then re-appears through a black portal. Ichigo then runs to confront the hollow, he tells the hollow to "come get me". The hollow then begins attacking Ichigo, but just at the right time the Shinigami blocks the hollows attack and slashes its upper lip. We then see her fall, she was injured from the hollows attack. The Shinigami crawls towards a near by pole and leans against it. She then says "Do you want to save your family?". Ichigo replies "Of course". There is only one way, Ichigo must become a Shinigami, but to do so he must lunge the sword into his heart, she claims it may not work. His response "Give me the sword, Shinigami". Her reply "Its not Shinigami, it's Kuchiki Ruikia. While the hollow begins attacking, he responds "I'm...Kurosaki Ichigo", and lunges the sword through his heart. A huge flash of light erupts the scene and suddenly the hollow loses its left arm. Rukia dazed by Ichigo taking all her powers is amazed by his spirtual preassure. We then see Ichigo lunge at the monster with his huge soul slayer and begin his attack on the monster. Ichigo slashes off the monsters right leg, then says "Feel my wrath for having raised a hand on my family...AND GO TO HELL!". Ichigo raises his sword in the air and slashes the monster straight town the middle, dissolving it into dust.
